Why no hourly billing?
Hourly billing punishes speed. A senior engineer who solves a problem in 2 hours earns less than a junior who takes 20. We’d rather quote a fixed price for a fixed scope and ship fast. If we finish early, we use the time to polish.
What’s the payment schedule?
Projects: 30% on signature, 40% at the midpoint demo, 30% on launch. Consultancy: first call free, then $200 per session (or a monthly retainer for ongoing work). We invoice in USD and accept ACH, wire, and major cards via Stripe, with a signed SOW every time.
What if my scope changes mid-project?
It happens. Small changes (a button here, a tweak there) are free. Bigger changes get a change order with a separate quote and timeline. You sign it or not — never any surprises.
Can I bundle multiple services?
Absolutely — lots of clients pair a website + dashboard, or an AI agent + admin panel. Bundles get a discount on the smaller item. We’ll quote it as a single project once we’ve talked through the scope.
Do you offer equity-only or deferred deals?
For a tiny number of projects per year, yes. We swap a portion of cash for equity if the company & team are aligned with what we want to build. DM the founders to discuss — it’s case-by-case.
Do you offer refunds?
If we ghost or miss a deadline by more than 50%, the remaining unfinished work is refunded in full. We’ve never had to issue one yet — but the guarantee is in writing in every contract.
Are there any taxes or hidden fees?
No. Prices are the price. As a U.S.-registered company billing in USD, there's no sales tax on professional software development in most states — and we'll provide a W-9 and clean invoices for your books. No platform fees or surprise add-ons; third-party cloud / API costs are passed through at cost, with receipts.
Do you sign NDAs / MSAs and handle compliance?
Yes. We’ll sign your NDA before the first real conversation, and we work under your MSA or ours. We build to SOC 2, HIPAA, CCPA and GDPR readiness when your project needs it, and we’re happy to complete your vendor security questionnaire.
